The Emperor Heavy Duty Skid Plate, in our opinion, is the best skid plate available on the market today. With a 3/16″ thick aluminum construction, hand Tig welded wings with an Emperor scorpion logo carved into each side for the bling factor, aluminum mounting brackets and high-grade metric fasteners, you simply can’t go wrong. It also comes with 1/4″ thick x 3/4″ wide foam tape to place between the frame and skid plate for a nice snug fit that will eliminate any possible vibrations. This is the perfect product for the hardcore off-road rider.

Built like an absolute tank for the KLX300! The 3/16″ aluminum plate took a massive rock hit on a rocky climb that would’ve smashed the stock engine case. The included frame foam tape is a game-changer because it completely stopped high-RPM aluminum buzz.
